Accessibility Statement for the Windows 11 Field Guide Site
We want every guide on windows11.io to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or high-contrast settings.
What we do
- Pages use real headings, lists and tables so screen readers can navigate them.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and links are clearly marked.
- Photos have text descriptions; decorative artwork is hidden from screen readers.
- Text reflows on small screens and when you zoom in, without sideways scrolling.
- Steps are written as text, not only as screenshots, so they work with assistive technology.
Windows accessibility features
Windows 11 itself includes Narrator, Magnifier, Live captions, Voice access, colour filters and text-size settings under Settings > Accessibility. Our Windows 11 features guide covers where to find them.
